Thrift Store Find: Gold Sunburst Mirror
July 28, 2011
I've been blogging for about 8 months now, and in that same time I've discovered quite a few blogs that I enjoy reading. One thing that these blogs all seem to have in common is the authors fairly frequently find something really great at a thrift store.
Whenever I see one of these posts I tend to trundle off to a thrift store thinking I too will find something great, and have pretty much always come away empty-handed - until recently.
Feast your eyes on what I found at a local Goodwill store:
Curious about the price? It was a hugely expensive $6.06. I think this qualifies as a great find - don't you?

ReplyDeleteThe stuff at my Goodwills are ridiculously over-priced in most cases, so that mirror DOES qualify as a great find!

Thanks for stopping by for a visit!
ReplyDeleteSomebody must buy the stuff at the crazy prices, but it won't be me. The ones in Toronto have days where everything is 50% off, but by the time I get there after work, there isn't anything I'd even consider buying :(
That is a great find! Luckily our local Goodwill in Baltimore, MD is fairly priced. We've found a few items priced under $10. And they will give you the item for half-priced if it's been there for a while.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree, our thrift stores are usually a bunch of junk. But that mirror is fantastic! Love it, can't believe you didn't have to paint it or anything...major score!
