Freakin Never Ending To Do list via Etsy |
I've been lagging a bit when it comes to completing home decorating projects, so I thought I'd actually write out what I hope to have accomplished at home by December 31st, 2012 in the hopes that the internet is better at holding me accountable. Ready? Here we go (in no particular order):
Stuff to finish
- Repair (or have repaired) the ceiling in the dining room.
- Paint the walls in the dining room
- Spruce up the kitchen
- Get some additional storage for the dining room
- Come up with a better furniture layout for the living room
- Finish my dresser project
- Paint the living room a colour other than white.
- Get actual window coverings for the bedroom, living room and dining room
- Get or make some art for the walls
- Actually hang the art on the walls!
- Get a rug for the foyer that can fit under the door when it opens.
- Get bedside tables that are not two different sizes.
- Get a prettier TV console
- Add some more storage to living room
- Purge my bookcase
- Paint my bedroom
- Get a rug for my bedroom.
- Refinish those chairs I bought last spring . . .
- Install my dining room light
- Remove doors into dining room and living room.
- Get more lighting for the living room
- Consider a move from wordpress.com to wordpress.org
- Learn to take better photographs
- Increase average posts a week from 1 to 2.
- Reach 100,000 views (Currently at 22,000)
- Start taking my lunch to work EVERY DAY (okay, 4 out of 5 days)
- Get back into running, and do at least one 10K race in 2012
- Buy myself flowers every so often 'just-because'
What about you? Have you made any resolutions for 2012, or have you resolved not to make any this year?
