During my Design Theory class last semester the final project involved using images to demonstrate the theories we'd learned. Naturally I used Pinterest as my source for images. I came across one picture that I loved, but unfortunately it wasn't credited properly so I did a bit more digging and discovered where the image was taken.

Happy Monday Everyone!  I know for a lot of people today is the first day back to their regular schedule after the holidays so I thought I’d keep this morning’s post short, simple, and, well, happy.

Have you seen ‘Despicable Me 2’? I haven’t, so I’d never heard the song. When I discovered the video for Pharrell Williams' Happy yesterday while stumbling around the endless abyss that is Youtube (please tell me I’m not the only one who can’t resist clicking on ‘just one more video’). I may have played it a few times consecutively while dancing dancing along in my kitchen. I think this song is the perfect way to start off a week – don’t you?

Do you guys know Meredith Heron? She’s an amazing designer here in Toronto (she also recently spoke at BlogPodium) and she’s one designer whom I’d love to shadow for a few days – the pictures she posts on Instagram of the fabrics and finishes she’s mulling over? Amazing.

Anyways, about a month ago Meredith tweeted about a giveaway she was going to have later that week on her blog and naturally I responded:

Etosha is quite a bold pattern which is a bit of a departure for me, but after poking around the internet and finding some lovely spaces in which the paper has been used I’m excited to see it in my place.

A month or so ago I was scrolling though my blog reader when I happened upon a post from Apartment Therapy. At first I couldn’t figure out why the post caught my eye as it was about a nursery which isn’t something I normally read, but then I realized it was the art on the wall. This is it:

I bit of Googling located a shop in New Zealand called Annex that sells a travel wardrobe of paper dresses and purses. The dresses here are $195.

What do you think? Would you buy a paper dress to hang on your wall?

I think I've mentioned that I'm taking an Intro. to Drafting course, and it wraps up in just over a week. For the final project we have to draft a floor plan for a condo which mean I've been trolling Pinterest and the internet at large for inspiration on furniture ideas.

What do you think? Could you live with a pink couch?
